The second day of International Symposium on Online Journalism offered a refreshing look at international innovative initiatives. While bandwidth is rising, the prices are prohibitive.

Guy Berger, head of the School of Journalism & Media Studies at Rhodes University in Grahamstown, South Africa, was awarded a $630,000 Knight News Challenge grant for the News is Coming project.
