The research papers for the 2010 International Online Journalism Symposium were posted online ahead of the conference, which ran on 23–24 April at the AT&T conference center at UT Austin.
The papers themselves were served as PDFs from the conference site and are no longer available at their original addresses; what follows is the record of what was presented.
The set covered a wide spread of subjects: blogging at US broadcast networks, models for micropayments, and a study of the New York Times interactive technology desk among them. Also on the programme was a paper on a project to research and develop a Canadian music wiki with CBC Radio 3, presented with Amanda Ash, a graduating journalism student who had been working part-time at CBC Radio 3 on the project since the previous September.
ISOJ was already an established venue for digital-media research and for meeting the people doing it. Sessions were streamed live, and the conversation ran on Twitter under the hashtag #isoj.
